No clothing would be the most comfortable and allow for more skin exposure to the infrared light. Some clients opt to wear bathing suits. Loose fitting clothing works as well.

Please make sure you are well hydrated beforehand and bring water with you. We will also have filtered water for you at the studio. We provide you with towels but you may bring one as well if you prefer.

For first timers we set the sauna at 140F. The highest temperature we can set our clients on is 150F for 30 mins. You do not want to go above 150 for more than 30 mins. The sauna itself can go up to 200F but the optimal time for that would be about 10 mins. The sauna creates stress on the body allowing cells to regenerate because you are actively sweating out toxins. So new cells can form. The temperature of 140-150 will also help with circulation and oxygen flow to the brain, any higher than this for long periods of time creates too much stress.

The optimal time for regular infrared sauna use is 30-45 minutes as most benefits (relaxation, muscle recovery, detoxification) are achieved within this time frame. While an hour-long infrared sauna session is generally safe for very experienced users, we do not recommend it in order to avoid dehydration and overheating.
